Roc Tan’s Hoops & Bushings for Telescopic Poles are engineered to offer low-maintenance, high-reliability rotation for your windsock system. Designed specifically to mount atop Roc Tan aluminum telescopic flagpoles, these hoops swivel smoothly thanks to high-performance UHMW bushings.
Whether you’re outfitting an 8″ sock for a golf course or a 36″ sock for a high-visibility industrial site, Roc Tan’s hoop systems ensure your windsock turns freely with even the lightest breeze.
System Compatibility
These hoop assemblies are custom-fit for Roc Tan’s 15’, 20’, and 25’ telescoping aluminum poles. Each hoop kit includes:
- Carbon Steel Hoop – Precision-shaped to maintain sock structure
- Preload & Support Rods – Hold sock open, prevent wrap-around
- UHMW Bushing – Pre-installed in pole or provided with hoop kit
- Security Hardware – Push nuts or screws, depending on hoop size
- Install Guide – Step-by-step setup for fast, tool-free mounting

Note: 24SU and 36SU hoops are identical to those used on swivel units and towers.

Installation Guide
For 8”, 12”, and 18” Hoops:
- Slide hoop over the bushing at the top of the telescoping pole.
- For 8” hoops, press on the push nut to secure.
- For 12” and 18” hoops, install preload and support rods.
- Fasten with supplied screws into hoop tabs.
- Mount your windsock using UV-stable ties (included with sock).
For 24” and 36” Hoops (SU Models):
- Install preload and support rods onto hoop.
- Slide bushing into top pole adaptor (if not pre-installed).
- Align hoop axis with bushing and seat hoop securely.
- Secure preload with locking pins or screws.
- Attach windsock via brass grommets and ties.
